About Markage

Professional marketing support. Built for the businesses that need it most.

Markage is a marketing studio purpose-built for small businesses. We deliver the execution work that keeps a business visible, operational, and growing, at a cost and pace that fits the reality of running a small operation. Our model is simple: fixed pricing, defined scope, qualified people, and no long-term contracts.

Most small businesses are not short on ambition. They are short on bandwidth.

Running a business and marketing a business are two different jobs. Most small business owners are doing both at once, without the time, team, or tools to do either as well as they should. That is the gap Markage is built for.

Who We Are

A studio built for a market that has been underserved for a long time.

Small businesses account for the majority of employment in every market we serve. They represent the entrepreneurial decisions of people who have a skill, an idea, or a product and have chosen to build something with it. What they rarely have is the marketing infrastructure that larger organisations take for granted.

The gap is real. Professional marketing support, reliable execution, and qualified people to lead the work have historically been available only to businesses with the budget to hire a team or retain an agency. For the majority of small business operators, those options are either too expensive, too complex to manage, or both.

Markage was built to close that gap. We provide marketing execution through a model that removes the cost and overhead of traditional hiring and the unpredictability of agency relationships. Our services are productized, meaning each one has a defined scope, a published price, and a repeatable process. Clients know what they are getting before they start. The work begins without lengthy negotiations, proposals, or ramp-up periods.

We operate in Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Each market is served by a local team that understands the business environment, the regulatory context, and the communication expectations of that market. We work in English, French, and Spanish.

Who we serve

Small businesses at every stage

Whether you are establishing your first digital presence or maintaining an active operation that has outgrown what one person can manage, Markage provides marketing execution that fits where you are today and scales with what you need next.

What we replace

The overhead of building in-house

Recruiting, onboarding, training, managing, and eventually replacing marketing staff carries costs that most small business owners do not fully account for before they hire. Markage replaces that process with a service that is ready to start from day one.

What we protect

Your time and your focus

The work a business owner puts into managing marketing coordination is time not spent on the business itself. Markage handles the execution so that decision-making stays where it belongs: with the person who built the company.

Leadership

How decisions get made and how work gets delivered.

Markage operates on a direct model. Every client has one qualified point of contact who leads the work, owns the task list, and coordinates with the wider studio when additional resources are needed. There are no account management layers, no shared queues, and no handoffs that lose context.

Internally, Markage holds its team to a set of working principles that shape both conduct and output.

Principle 01

Integrity before output

We do what we say we will do. If a task is outside scope, we say so. If timelines are at risk, we communicate early. Clients are not managed. They are informed.

Principle 02

Clarity over volume

We measure success by work that went live and produced a result, not by the number of requests processed. Quality and accuracy take priority over speed without review.

Principle 03

Continuity by design

Every engagement is built to survive personnel changes. Work is documented. Priorities are visible. A client should never feel that progress depends on a single individual remembering what was agreed.

The tools to compete should not be reserved for businesses with the budget to build a team.

Professional marketing execution has historically been available only to organisations large enough to hire for it or wealthy enough to retain an agency. Markage was built on the belief that access to that standard should not depend on the size of your balance sheet.

Our Mission and Vision

A clear problem. A clear position.

Two statements govern how Markage operates and where it is headed. Neither is aspirational language. Both reflect decisions that have already been made.

Mission

Make professional marketing execution accessible to every small business.

Regardless of industry, location, or size. The work should reach the audience. The site should stay current. The campaigns should go out. Owners should spend their time running the business, not coordinating the marketing.

Vision

A market where capability, not budget, determines who succeeds.

The tools and talent required to compete should not be available only to businesses that can afford a full team. Every business with a legitimate product, service, or skill deserves a professional standard of support.

Our Purpose

Why this problem is worth solving at scale.

Employment conditions globally have changed in ways that are not temporary. More people are building independent livelihoods rather than relying on traditional employment structures. In many markets, that shift is not a choice but a response to scarcity of stable work and limited access to funding.

What has not changed is the standard a business must meet to be taken seriously. A professional digital presence, consistent communication, and reliable marketing execution are now baseline expectations, not competitive advantages. Meeting that standard without a dedicated team requires either significant owner time or professional support.

The people building small businesses today are often doing so with limited resources, limited infrastructure, and no team behind them. What they have is a skill, a product, or a service that has genuine value. The only thing standing between that value and a sustainable business is execution.

That is the problem Markage is positioned to solve. Not for a niche segment. For anyone, anywhere in our markets, who is building something real and needs the execution support to keep it moving.

Impact and Sustainability

How we measure whether the work is working.

Markage does not measure impact through marketing metrics alone. The meaningful question is whether the business owner is spending less time on marketing coordination and more time on the work they are actually in business to do. That shift is the measure that matters.

At the operational level, Markage keeps the model lean by design. Productized services with fixed pricing eliminate the waste and uncertainty that comes with open-ended retainers. Clients pay for a defined outcome. The studio delivers it without overhead the client is funding but not benefiting from.

At the market level, local teams in each country mean that the economic output of Markage's work stays close to the communities it serves. We are not routing work through offshore models to reduce our costs at the expense of quality or local relevance.

Client measure

Less time on coordination

The right outcome for a Markage client is not a full task list. It is an owner who is no longer the person managing every marketing request, approval, and follow-up.

Operational measure

Fixed cost, predictable output

very service has a defined scope and a published price. Clients know what they are funding. The studio knows what it is delivering. Waste is removed from both sides of the engagement.

Market measure

Local teams, local value

Canada, the United States, and Mexico each have their own team. Market knowledge, language, and business-hours coverage are not approximated from a central location. They are built into each engagement by default.

Three countries. Three languages. One operational standard.

Canada, the United States, and Mexico. English, French, and Spanish. Local teams, local market knowledge, and local business hours in every market we serve. The quality of the work does not change depending on where the client is based. That is the commitment.

Culture and Diversity

Who we are and the markets we are built to serve.

Markage operates in three countries and communicates in three languages. English, French, and Spanish are not services we offer on request. They are the working languages of our teams in the markets where we operate. A client in Quebec, a retailer in Texas, and a service business in Mexico City all receive support from a team that understands their local market, communicates in their preferred language, and works during their business hours.

Canada's diversity reflects what we believe a modern business should look like. The United States and Mexico bring their own cultural range, and we do not apply a single template across any of them. Local knowledge is a professional requirement, not a marketing claim.

Internally, Markage is a workplace where contributions are evaluated on the quality of the work and the consistency of the effort. Every person on the team, regardless of where they are based, works to the same operational standard and is held to the same professional expectations.

Who we serve

Businesses building something real

Our clients are people who have decided to run a business and need the marketing execution to support it. Some are established operations. Some are at the beginning. What they share is a legitimate product, service, or skill and the intention to grow it.

Why this matters

Owners who need their time back

The most common pressure point we see is owners who are personally managing every marketing task because there is no one else to do it. That is the pain point Markage is built for.

Our standard

The same quality in every market

A client in Vancouver and a client in Miami receive the same quality of work, the same standard of communication, and the same operational process. Local teams ensure the market knowledge is specific. The standard ensures the output is consistent.

In the United States and Mexico, we follow the applicable federal and state or national privacy requirements for each engagement.

Client data, including marketing assets, campaign records, and account access, is retained only for the duration of the engagement. When the engagement ends, data is deleted unless otherwise agreed in writing. You can request early deletion at any time where the law permits.

We do not use client data to develop products, build internal tools, or inform work for any other client. What you share with Markage stays within your engagement.
