Who This Is For
This educational placement is exclusively for students currently enrolled in an approved Ontario post-secondary program (college of applied arts and technology, university, or private career college) that requires a work placement for academic credit. Participation must be arranged and confirmed by your institution’s internship or co-op office.
About the Placement
Through partnerships with educational institutions, Markage provides mentor-led training in digital marketing fundamentals within a structured learning environment. Activities are training-focused and observational. No client work occurs, and tasks do not displace paid staff.

Location: Remote/hybrid

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ET (Toronto time)

Duration: Full-time from September 15, 2025 to December 5, 2025. Schedule may be adjusted to meet academic credit requirements with prior approval from your program.
Stipend for Expenses
A $150 weekly stipend is provided solely to offset transportation costs related to this educational placement. This is not compensation for work performed.
Learning Objectives
- Under direct mentor supervision, you will gain exposure to:
- Foundational brand-strategy concepts
- Content-creation techniques (observation and practice only)
- Marketing analytics using simulated or historical data
- Internal project simulations such as mock campaigns and presentation preparation
- Digital storytelling fundamentals
Eligibility
- Current enrollment in a credit-granting approved post-secondary program
- Formal approval from your school’s internship or co-op coordinator
- Interest in marketing principles; no prior experience required
